The rookie coach does not really control his risk taking. For example, he starts his turn on a 3+ dice roll backed by a Reroll without first covering the ball. He often achieves, as soon as he can, a two turn touchdown – all proud of his success without realizing that he has just nailed himself into his own coffin. He tends to take enormous risks without realizing it, and generates countless failures against which he does not protect himself; a real gold mine to exploit for a more skilled coach. At the same time, the rookie coach often curses his misfortunes while quickly forgetting (or not noticing) that he has been previously blessed by succeeding some risky dice rolling sequences.
